i know i know we have all read about it but my mom goes out in service to this crazy cart witnessing crap.
so they go sit by the cart for a half hour then they get back into the car to warm up and the next two sisters take over for a half hours etc.
but then there is at least one brother siting in his car to watch and over see the sisters so he can be like their security.
heres a couple--hiding behind their carts in a shop doorway. since i took that photo--their kingdumb hall has been sold--half a million ££ and is now a veterinary practice.
the dubs now have to share a hall in another town with 2 other congs. this hall was a former church. i bet jehovah is really sad.
so what exactly have they been doing now , with the exception of intervening thousands of years ago, what exactly do they do in heaven?

today while out running errands, i was flipping through the radio trying to find something to listen to.
i ended up on some christian type of station, and the guy was talking about the ark, and the flood during noah's time.
personally i no longer believe this fable, because the facts just don't line up.

a little back story.
i have been working so hard to build my faith this year, and i am finally at the point where i am beginning to trust god and i want to build an unbreakable relationship with him.

i’m sure like many of you that use this forum i sometimes think back over the years as a jw and recall the funny, the strange and then the downright bizarre things that happened within the organisation.
i grew up and settled in a densely jw populated area of manchester which was filled with the usual jw drama and nonsense.. if you were from the area and have any memories or stories please post them here.. one of the things i clearly recall (and i’m sure this wasn’t just a manchester jw thing) was the massive drinking culture within the jw community.
i didn’t really pick up on it until i started questioning things but looking back i can remember my parents taking about an elder in the hall that drank a can of beer before going to the thursday meeting.
His tipple was 2 Gold Label barley wines in a pint glass with a Southern Comfort chaser.

in a nutshell.
a group of about 6 women who have been friends practically their whole lives that i personally know are leaving there jw husbands.
my understanding is they're starting to see the hypocrisy of the .org.
wives should always remember they are sitting on a gold mine. if they lead their husband by his balls his heart and mind will follow.
today is my 34th birthday.
or, my 3rd birthday that i've actually acknowledged seeing as i was raised in the cult.. i woke up this morning to my 4yo running into my room and wishing me a "happy birthday daddy!".
i got a card from my ex-jw brother and i bought myself a birthday gift - a new 50mm lens for my nikon camera (photography is a hobby i took up since leaving the cult).. i dont know about you guys, but birthdays is still something i have to make a conscious effort to acknowledge and enjoy.
